ICPS and the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (DIBIC) of the University of Milan are coordinators of the project of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA): “Capacity building and knowledge transfer in non-dietary exposure assessment to non-professional use of PPPs” (GP/EFSA/ENCO/2020/03 ) in collaboration with the Greek Competent Authority (Benaki Phytopathological Institute-BPI) and the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). The main objective of the project is to characterize the scenarios of non-professional use of plant protection products and the related risks.
In this context, in collaboration with the Lombardy Region-Directorate General of Welfare, a survey was disseminated on the Italian territory in the form of a questionnaire for the collection of information useful for a safe use of plant protection products to protect non-professional users.
